Welcome to The Fox & Hounds
The Fox & Hounds is a traditional country pub with a contemporary restaurant in Surrey. The bar is stocked with a fine selection of wines, spirits, real ales and soft drinks. Our restaurant serves a seasonal menu of home-cooked stylishly prepared food, using local produce when available.
Since reopening in May 2009, the restaurant has become extremely popular, especially for Sunday lunch. The pub, which has always been a popular local, is enjoying a busy start to the year, both with regulars and visitors from further afield. 'The Foxy Ladies' are (at present) an all girl front-of-house team who are looking forward to welcoming you.
Our customers are advised to book well in advance for Sunday lunch to avoid disappointment.
There is now a separate restaurant with its own menu open for lunch and dinner Wednesday to Sunday. The traditional pub bar menu is of course still available every day.
The restaurant is available for regular private use Mondays and Tuesdays and other days by request. If you would like to hold a party, a fundraising charity supper, a business breakfast or maybe a society dinner, please ask one of the Foxy Ladies.
We are planning a number of dinners with wine, and fundraising events for local charities. If you would like to be kept informed, please let us have your details by email or drop a business card into our pink pot.

The Fox and Hounds in Walton on the Hill, is the heart of this beautiful and accessible Surrey village, but has sadly been closed for 6 months. The Foxy Ladies to the rescue!
We aim to be an excellent pub in the region, known for; consistently high quality beer, fresh seasonal food and service so that customers know they will receive excellence each time they visit us.
We are looking to create a team of versatile reliable front and back of house staff to work on a part time basis. Experience of customer focussed employment is desirable but not as essential as the right attitude!
All applicants need to be flexible about hours and duties and able to work in a close team.
You must legally be entitled to live and work in UK and speak English fluently. References essential.
