CHEF'S SPECIALS

Our Chef loves putting together the Specials menu served Friday – Sunday. This gives us a chance to show off and you an opportunity to enjoy something you would not normally find on a village pub menu.

This year we have been picking and preserving fresh fruit and vegetables from the hedgerows and gardens, so expect to see courgette chutney, poached and pickled pears, plum preserves, blackberries popping up in a rich sauce with some game, caramelised apples with some stuffed pork belly, and a variety of sloshed fruit coulis later in the year!

There is always a delicious fresh soup made by our Sous Chef. He uses fresh ingredients, often from allotment vegetables that we have swapped for a pint with our customers.
