Welcome to The Fox and Hounds!

Our lovely village pub was rescued a couple of years ago by local girls Jane & Georgia, after having being closed for a long time. 

We have worked hard to become ‘the’ pub at the heart of the village, known for excellent service by our happy, enthusiastic all girl front of house team known locally as "The Foxy Ladies".

Our brilliant chefs are dedicated to developing our reputation as a destination food pub. We like to cook proper homemade food, a mainly British classic menu alongside Chef’s specials, which change daily according to what is delicious, seasonal, local – or from what our customer’s have dropped off at the bar. If you have surplus fresh produce, we are always happy to indulge in a spot of bartering!  We are told we serve the best traditional Sunday Roast in Surrey.
The Fox and Hounds is a relaxed family pub – perfectly placed for a stop off on a long ramble or a walk with your dog.
Every Sunday we host Open Mic Nights, so if you sing, play or tell jokes, come along about 8pm.
Every Monday we have a Quiz in the bar, with a rollover ‘open the box’ raffle. Join us at 8 for a drink and some free tasty bar snacks.

We are always at the heart of local community events, and love nothing more than an excuse to dress up! This year we organised the Royal Wedding Party for 1200 villagers, hosted various charity events and were the proud winners of 2011 best dressed pub in the Walton on the Hill May Pageant!
We have created a separate restaurant/function room which is available for private hire. – and free for community use.
